TCVN 6447: 1998 specifies structural standards of twisted-pair electric cables including: insulation by cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE); working voltage to 0.6/1 kV; with 2, 3 or 4 aluminum conductors, rated cross-section from 16 to 150 mm2. The successive layers of helix must be in opposite directions and the outermost helix must be in the right direction.
In addition to products according to the above standards, SUNWON has other twisted-pair cables such as copper core cables with 2 – 4 conductors or nominal cross-sections up to 185/240mm2. Copper conductors are also braided from electrically round copper wires and pressed in accordance with TCVN 5934: 1995.
SUNWON 3-core aluminum twisted-pair cable series includes products with the following nominal cross-sections:
- AX 3 x 11mm2: 7 electrically laminated round aluminum filaments;
- AX 3 x 16mm2: 7 electrically laminated round aluminum filaments;
- AX 3 x 25mm2: 7 electrically laminated round aluminum filaments;
- AX 3 x 35mm2: 7 electrically laminated round aluminum filaments;
- AX 3 x 50mm2: 7 electrically laminated round aluminum filaments;
- AX 3 x 70mm2: 7 or 19 electrical engineering aluminum circular threads tightly pressed together;
- AX 3 x 95mm2: 19 electrically laminated round aluminum filaments;
- AX 3 x 120mm2: 19 electrically laminated round aluminum filaments;
- AX 3 x 150mm2: 19 electrically laminated round aluminum filaments;
The 3-core twisted-pair cable is phased according to the floating ribs on the XLPE insulated sheath, specifically, the 3-core twisted-pair power cable includes 1 core without floating ribs, 1 core with 1 floating ribbed and 1 core with 2 floating ribs.
